Born in Atlanta, GA. 1982​​

A.D.Munro started painting graffiti art in 1998.

​​Starting in 2000 A.D.Munro coordinated many mural projects across Atlanta and began to help bring legal, professional graffiti work into the mainstream during the late 90's and early 2000's. By working with churches, neighborhood associations, and youth centers he helped change minds about the possibilities of graffiti as a viable and profitable art form.

This was also when he began to take his art on the road, painting murals in new cities and countries, all while attending college and starting a custom canvas company that offered customized graffiti canvases to clients.

 

After graduating from Georgia State University in 2008, A.D.Munro took his talents across the country landing in San Diego, CA. Here he began to branch out into other ways to share his love of graffiti art and still continued to paint murals not only in southern California but across the world.

Still a resident of California, A.D.Munro has been teaching graffiti art classes at various schools and summer camps across the area, highlighting the legal and professional aspects of graffiti art to children ages 4-14. Now affiliated with the ADEP Collective, a group of young artists and educators, he continues to sculpt young minds and change the way graffiti art is seen in the community. With new mural projects continuing to spring up, as well as guest lectures and more classes the future is bright for this rising artist..
